Apple has underestimated its strengths and popularity of AirPods, and now does not keep pace with the wishes of customers.
According to MyDrivers, wireless headphones diverge so quickly that the manufacturer does not keep up with demand and a shortage has already formed. As a result, Apple turned to Luxshare Precision, which produce AirPods, asking for double production. Thanks to this, the shares of the company, as well as its partners jumped in price.
At the same time, the manufacturer AirPods decided to play it safe and is already building a new factory to collect Apple wireless headphones.
It is noteworthy that the deficit of AirPods in November was predicted by Wedbush analyst Dan Ives. The expert predicted that various versions of AirPods will have a circulation of 65 million units by the end of 2019, and in 2020 sales will reach 85–90 million. Apparently, the expert’s predictions are coming true. In addition, according to Bloomberg, after Christmas, Apple shares rose 1.6%, reaching record levels.
